Bumble Bee`s Cafe in Blue Ridge

Service was a little slow, but the food was good. Had a special of steak tenderloin with 2 eggs, sour dough toast, and homefries. Better than a fast food or chain restaurant breakfast, and worth the wait for fresh food.

Food was mediocre at best. A little pricy for what you get. Grits were HORRIBLE. not sure what they put in them but they need to start again. Ordered the western omelet. Veggies were burned. Very small amount of ham. When the server was asked about the grits, she didn’t offer to make it right. I will NOT recommend nor return here. Waffle House cooks better.

We love going here. They have great food as well as friendly employees. If you have little ones, they will bring either coloring sheets with crayons or give them chalk to draw on the table cloth. Our 4 year old loves that, and it keeps her occupied while waiting on our food. It is always very clean and decorated nicely.

It was delicious! We met the owner the evening before at a gas station and he was very personable so we decided to get up this am to come check out the restaurant. We will be coming back again whenever we're back in the area. The food was great and the serving size was more than enough. I couldn't even finish two bacon pancakes w/cheese eggs and grits. A+++++ restaurant.

This tiny restaurant doesn't have the greatest trappings, but the food was pretty good! My boyfriend had the mushroom omelette, I ordered French toast, and both came out tasty and in a reasonable time. That said, I wasn't super impressed and thought it was a little pricey for the amount of food you actually get (normally if I pay those prices, even in the bigger city where I live, you'd get a large entree and at least two sides with much prettier presentation). I guess...it is what it is? I wasn't unhappy, but I probably wouldn't go back.

Well, I'm searching for restaurants near me and of course like anyone else, I began reading the reviews. I'm quite saddened by the owners response to a complaint down below. They mentioned waiting over "half" a hour while being overlooked, and the owner response was " if you waited over a hour that's your fault"... wow!!! I'll go to waffle house before I dine in here and get ridiculed for their lack of attentiveness. Please be aware of your responses to paying customers! You do not know who you are turning away. And with today's technology all it takes is a few bad comments and no one would really want to dine in. I know this because I myself chose not to. Imagine who else?? Your patrons are the only reason why your business is in motion. Never forget that!

We came here while on vacation and the ladies at the BumbleBee's Cafe were very nice and took great care of us. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The eggs in particular were light, fluffy and amazing. We would definitely come here again.

Very nice people. Mediocre food. It takes a long time to come up. It's not service if you have to ask for it. Considering all of the above the prices are a little higher than they should be.

Waited 30 minutes for a table. Server offered the outside table once other customers left and made a big deal about cleaning an inside table for us, even though two came available. Horrible attitude.

My group and I are visiting the area and saw this place with great reviews and their rating is 99%. Well I must say I am very disappointed, the food is mediocre, serve was slow and in a way rude. As we also waited 50 minutes to get our food. My recommendation is to go to another place.

This store is definitely going to go down hill fast. The owner is rude. Food is okay. Service is mediocre probably due to the owner not treating her employees they way they need to be. If this establishment had better management I think this place would be better and not have so many negative comments.

Delicious homecook breakfast. I recommend their pancakes. They were super fluffy and moist. I didn't like how they cook my bacon extra crispy. I guess some people like it like that. Cute breakfast stop.

We had a group of 11 and came for breakfast. Service and food was slow but the food was good. I had eggs florentine delicious! Overall it was okay.

Pretty dissatisfied. Every restaurant has a bad day. You also get one chance to make a 1st impression. Two waitresses, one covering 11 tables the other never came around (that one was ours) . Need a sign to seat yourself or wait to be seated. People walked in not sure what to do. I also witnessed several orders get sent back for being wrong. Burned omelet inside and out, cold inside. Cheese wasn't even melted. Bacon was dry and burned. Toast was gold at least.

Quaint little cafe that serves breakfast and lunch until 2 pm everyday. Food was good, place was clean and the staff was very friendly! Reasonably priced too!

First time here and I must say I wasn't that impressed. Here for lunch and I had the philly steak. It wasn't a big sandwich as you would expect for the price. Nothing here stood out. An ordinary place with ordinary food. However, I will be back to try the breakfast. I'm hoping it to be better.

My friends and I are here last weekend and were really impressed. The service was excellent and I loved the blueberry French toast with powdered sugar. Would recommend if you’re in the blue ridge/ cherry log area.
